I offer generative conflict support rooted in the principles of transformative justice, striving to create space for mutual healing, accountability, and collective growth.

Conflict is a normal part of human relationships. How we deal with conflict and harm when they inevitably happen is largely a questions of our ethics and values. How we deal with harm in our interpersonal relationships asks us to wrestle with hard questions — What kind of world do we want to build? How do we want to be treated when we have perpetuated harm? Do we really believe that people have the possibility to grow, transform and heal?

As an abolitionist, mediating in the transformative justice lineage, I am called to help shift the focus from punishment to collective healing, from retribution to responsibility, and from isolation to community. This approach is especially supportive for interpersonal conflicts within friendships, collectives, communities and organizations.

Unlike more traditional approaches that focus solely on resolution between parties, the processes and practices I call in seek to acknowledge the realities at the root of conflict, addressing underlying issues of power, harm, trauma and systemic inequities.

This approach involves deep listening, empathy, and co-creation of solutions that respect the dignity of all parties. Together, we will strive to move through facilitated exchanges that prioritize understanding and mutual responsibility. By addressing the impact of our actions over just the intent, we work together toward resolutions that are hopefully equitable and, when it makes sense, restorative.
